Our boards are reversible with cutting faces on both sides
Our boards are machined with rounded edges on top and bottom faces. This is for practical as well as aesthetic reasons – (The boards are easier to pick up with a rounded edge at the bottom)
 Our boards are treated with two coats of premium quality, food safe mineral oil.
We exclusively use “Vegan Mineral Wax ” because of it’s exceptional quality and it is produced in the UK.
 Solid wood chopping boards have several advantages over alternative materials (such as plastic):
 1.    The first and most obvious of course is aesthetics.
The beauty of natural wood complements and enhances any kitchen. A natural wood chopping board is a feature in its own right.
2.    Wooden chopping boards have a lower impact on knives compared to their synthetic counterparts.
Although knives are typically made from steel (and steel seems like a robust material), high quality knives are hardened and ground to a fine cutting edge. This combination of hardness and fineness makes the cutting edge relatively brittle and vulnerable to damage. The natural construction of wood supports lower risk of damage to this delicate cutting edge.
 
3.    Natural Anti-Bacterial properties of wood.
There have been multiple studies which demonstrate the natural anti-bacterial properties of wood. A Google search will yield multiple articles with the same findings.
